We offer “Crash Courses in basic thermography”. These customized programs can be held at your facility and scheduled to fit the need of the students. In other words, we can work around your schedule!
Advanced Training
PMC offers an ASNT compliant Level 1 and Level II thermography classes. Many real-life examples are discussed along with the standard requirements of the ASNT Level I and II classes.
Because of low overhead PMC now offers various options in completing your Level I ASNT requirements:
Our newest and most popular offering is a unique 32-hour blended Level I and Level II Thermography course built around a highly efficient 16/16 training format. The program begins with an intensive two-day, in-class experience (16 hours) featuring instructor-led presentations, hands-on activities, peer interaction, and testing—delivering the structure and engagement of traditional classroom training without the extended time away from work.
During the in-class portion, students explore infrared theory, heat transfer principles, and proper thermal camera operation, while developing the skills needed to capture clear, accurate, and easily interpreted thermal images. Instruction also includes proven strategies for building and managing a successful thermography program, whether within your own facility or at customer locations.
The course is led by a Level III Thermographer who brings extensive real-world field experience into the classroom, making the learning process practical, engaging, and highly relevant. Numerous hands-on exercises and real-life case studies are incorporated to reinforce concepts and build confidence.
Following the in-class session, students complete a series of online learning modules with quizzes, requiring approximately 16 additional hours. These modules allow students to reinforce and expand upon classroom instruction at their own pace, from the comfort of their home or office.
This 16/16 blended approach offers a powerful alternative to traditional multi-day thermography programs—delivering comprehensive training, improved retention, and significantly reduced time away from the field.
PMC LLC offers distance learning, through a leading 3rd party trainer, offering three complete on-line training programs for Level I, II and III. Although this training will link you to the primary offering site, PMC will offer technical/learning support during and after you have completed the program.
